‘Antardrishti’ is a welfare program for the Visually & Physically Impaired by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (Divine Light Awakening Mission).
Once, the founder & head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Santhan, His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji said,
“By providing food to the hungry or clothes to the unclad or sympathy to the physically impaired, we can solace them momentarily. Why not train them for a successful way of living that makes them self-dependent forever? Why not make them capable enough, for they can meet their basic needs without the supplementary supports?”
Today, blindness is considered a heavy social burden both in human and economic terms. The blind population of India constitutes one-fourth of the total number of the blind worldwide. In order to bring the ray of hope to the sightless eyes and make the physically impaired self-dependent & Self-secured His Holiness Sh. Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, initiated a special welfare program for the visually & physically impaired and denominated the program as ‘Antardrishti’ – the inner vision.
Through Antardrishti program, the visually & physically impaired gain an opportunity to develop special skills for employment generation and experience total self-dependence for their entire span of life.
