Navratri
Navratri is a popular Indian festival celebrated in many parts of India. The word Navratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit; Nava meaning Nine and Ratri meaning nights.
During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of female divinity are worshipped.
Ardent devotees keep a fast during these nine days and worship the goddess with love and reverence. The nine forms of female divinity worshipped depend on the tradition of the region.
The disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji celebrate Navratri every year, with an unflagging spirit, in a typical spiritual fashion with prayers, bhajans and spiritual discourses spanning the nine days.
