Sri Ravidas Jayanti is celebrated in India to mark the birth centenary of Swami Ravidas.

Swami Ravidas was born in a low caste family. During the Bhakti movement of India, when there was a lot of discrimination on the grounds of caste of a person, Swami Ravidas was the first to challenge discrimination of caste. He was the first to scientifically prove the highness of his caste. His devotional songs and verses made a lasting impact in the Bhakti movement. His followers call themselves Ravidasis.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan celebrates this occasion with bhajans and spiritual discourses to guide people and illumine them to the truth of the eternal soul inside us, which is beyond the realms of caste and creed. Message of universal love and brotherhood is also conveyed by the disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
